Shure SE846-CL Sound Isolating Earphones with Quad High Definition MicroDrivers and True Subwoofer

The Shure SE846-CL earphones are perfect for audiophiles who want only the best. These earphones have small compact earbuds that fit comfortably within your ear. However, these earbuds aren’t the ones that you’ll find at the dollar store. These earphones are made for professional musicians who may wish to use them in the studio, or the true audiophile who wants to hear only the best sound.

The Shure earphones come well-packaged in a smooth black box. Inside this box is another clear plastic box containing everything you need, for a professional listening experience. Inside the plastic box are two smaller black boxes. One contains all the accessories you need to customize your listening experience. The second box contains the actual earphones.

The Shure headphones are built inside a clear casing, so you can see their inner electronics. The cord is clear, and the ear buds are a cushiony black material. Their patent is pending. But there’s more to these headphones than just looks.

The Shure earphones are built with quad hi-definition MicroDrivers. These drivers provide clear sound, on the low and the high end. They promise to provide deep low end performance, never attainable in the past. This low pass filter gives the earphones the low end performance of an actual speaker subwoofer, without losing any clarity in the mid-range or high levels.

The earphones have the ability to block out thirty-seven decibels of ambient noise, no matter what location you’re in: studio, onstage concert, or a busy airport.

What this all adds up to is an exceptional listening experience. You’ll start to hear sounds in your music that you’ve never heard before. The crisp clear clarity will allow you to appreciate your music more, without having to crank the sound up to high volume.

The Shure sound isolating earphones also come with a variety of accessories. There is an extra cable, in case yours bends and breaks. There is a 1/4 sound adaptor, and an airport adaptor so the earphones can work in the studio, or on the plane. A cable clip will help to keep your earphone cable in place. One unique feature of these earphones are the three different sound filters that you can use to customize your listening enjoyment. You can insert balanced, warm, or bright, tailored to the type of music you enjoy, or simply to listen to your favorite songs in a new light. These filters easily insert into a changeable nozzle on either side of your earphones.

Shure backs up their Shure SE846-CL sound isolating earphones with a two year warranty, so you can be confident when spending your $1000, that they’ll exceed your expectations.

Due to their high end price point, not just anyone can afford to purchase Shure earphones. But for the audio enthusiast, they are perfect for the best listening experience, whether you’re a musician, or just a listener.

Yes, they are pricey but by all accounts well worth the investment.

These earphones are not within my budget but I am curious as to how they sound, as I love listening to music, dvd's and podcasts.
