5 Awesome Google Easter-Eggs for Christmas Santa

Updated on November 25, 2012

Google is one of my favorite enterprises. Since Google is the number 1 visited site in the world, they're becoming very powerful by launching a lot of services like Google+, Google Music, Google Wallet and Google currents, aside from the well known Youtube and others.

The good thing is that you can actually manage all those accounts, including calendar or even documents with the same Google account, which simplifies things a lot, specially if you have an Android Smartphone. Well, since we're 24 hours before Christmas,I've decided to show you the Google Easter Eggs for this holidays. I hope you enjoy them!

Google Easter Eggs: Christmas 2012

Here we go!

Open your Google Search Engine and type the following words to discover the easter eggs:

  1. Santa: Your search results will appear with some Christmas ornamentation at the top.
  2. Hanukkah: Type this and you will find some lovely starts at the top of your search results.
  3. Kwanzaa: Kwanzaa is a celebration honoring African-American heritage where they usually light some candles. So you will a candle bar at the top.
  4. Let it snow: Perhaps this is the funniest of the Easter Eggs. Type "let it snow" on your browser (preferably on Google Chrome) and watch how the snow starts filling your screen and everything gets steamy. You can defrost everything with a click or draw pictures on your screen as if you were inside your warm car.
  5. Bonus: Youtube snowflakes: Opening any video on your Youtube account will allow you to select if you want snowflakes falling on your video or not. Also, note that the Youtube slider has a snowflake design!

Other than that, it's already December 24th in my country, so Merry Christmas to everyone! Please enjoy your holidays with your family and friends, and remember this is all about love and friendship. Don't let anything interfere with that. If you drink, don't drive! Greetings!
