Are you a tech enthusiast or geek who wants to get updated with the latest and interesting tech news? Do you like to read tech articles like guides and how-tos? If yes, then this article is for you.

Reading and getting yourself updated with the latest technologies and news is good if you're passionate about technology. It helps you build more interest in the industry and also make you aware of the latest trends and happenings.

In this article, I’ve compiled seven such tech publishers and websites that you should follow to keep your passion fulfilled and help you gain more knowledge on technology:

So, let's get on with these tech websites one by one:

1. The Verge

Launched in the year 2011, today, The Verge has become one of the widely-read and globally recognized technology news website. The website is based in the U.S. and is owned by Vox Media.

Authors at The Verge mostly publish feature stories, news, product reviews, guides, etc. in easy-to-understand language. The modern look and design of the website also add up to your easy and flexible reading experience.

Apart from the latest tech happenings in the US and around the world, the website also publishes entertainment content. What I like on the website is the clear category of all types of content that you can read, such as 'Science', 'Entertainment', 'Reviews', etc.

Further, the website currently has around 2.6 million followers on Twitter who actively engage with the content shared by The Verge. You should follow this website if you want to read about topics related to hardcore tech, product reviews, entertainment news, etc.

2. TechRadar

The second website I have on the list is TechRadar. This is yet another popular technology publication but originating from the UK. Here, you'll mostly find content on tech news and reviews.

Although based in the UK, they have several teams of writers and editors working from Australia and India.

The best thing about this site is that it automatically detects your location and based on that fetches the relevant content and deals.

It is owned by Future plc and was launched back in the year 2008.

For example, if you’re visiting the publication from Australia, it will show up the Australian version for you without having to toggle it.

If you want to know in detail about the product reviews, guides, and in-depth stories, I’d strongly suggest you bookmark this website and start reading regularly.

You can easily find various categories about which you want to read articles on. These include TVs, laptops, gaming, car tech, wearables, and of course, smartphones.

3. TechCrunch

If you want to know about the latest technology and business trends, then TechCrunch can be an ideal website for you. TechCrunch is an American website that publishes content related to startups and technology.

TechCrunch is not for every tech enthusiast out there. It caters to a specific audience and that audience mostly reads Startup and Technology news.

Here, you’ll find an in-depth analysis of the hot topics related to a product or technology. The website has the main office located in San Francisco.

It was launched in June 2005 and is currently owned by AOL and Verizon Media.

The website has a massive fan following of over 10 million tech enthusiasts from all over the world. It’s due to the awesome tech content they already have and publishing it for many years.

You must follow the website if you want to stay updated with the technology and startup news.

4. Digital Trends

The fourth website where you can keep an eye for everything technology is Digital Trends. As the name suggests, on this website you will find exciting and informative pieces on tech news, product reviews, great how-tos, guides, etc.

It majorly covers news related to lifestyle products and information on various consumer electronics products.

I’m sure that once you start reading this website, you’ll get awesome how-tos and descriptive articles on various exclusive devices and software. Further, they also offer great deals on gadgets and smartphones.

The website is launched in the year 2006 and is based in Oregon, US. You can read articles related to entertainment, such as Best Movies on Netflix, Best Shows on Hulu, etc.

5. Beebom

Are you a smartphone enthusiast? Or a tech geek who wants to read interesting tech blogs from India and around the world? Then you must right away follow this website, Beebom.

Based in New Delhi, Beebom guys are quick in producing quality yet informative tech articles. I have been following them for a couple of years now and I have to say that if you're an Indian tech enthusiast, you must follow this website.

It helps you get updated with the latest tech news focusing on India.

Beebom was founded in the year 2012 and currently has over 3 million followers across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.

They have categories, such as reviews, how-to, and my favorite news section where you can stay updated with all the major news about the tech industry in India and around the world.

For all those who want to consume India-centric tech content and don’t want to miss out on important updates from the global tech world, you shouldn't miss following Beebom.

6. XDA Developers

Just don't go by the website name.

Although they call themselves founded by developers for developers, it is actually useful for every tech enthusiast. If you're a smartphone enthusiast like me and want to get updated with the latest and useful news on Android, then you must bookmark this website.

Not only they offer great in-depth pieces, but they're also among the first in reporting the leaks and rumors.

The best thing about the website? They have a separate section called 'Forums' in which you can find how-tos, guides, popularity, etc. of a specific device.

Based on the popularity and things that others have shared about a smartphone, you'll decide whether to go for it or not. It's also a great section to solve a problem that you find to be facing with your device.

7. The Hacker News

The seventh website I have for you is The Hacker News (THN). Again, don't go by the name, it is a legitimate website. In fact, they have a verified Twitter account.

Anyways, talking about the website, you could have guessed that they produce content related to hacking. And that is absolutely right.

THN can be your one-stop solution if you want to read news and articles related to the latest cyberattacks and data breaches from around the world. It is also a great website if you want to learn more about cybersecurity and its related fields.

The website was launched in the year 2010 and has been publishing the content since then to educate people on the best and safe use of the Internet.

Based in India, THN currently has around 8 million monthly readers, coming from all sorts of industries and fields. THN has grown to be the internationally recognized website on hacking and cyber attacks.

I have recently started reading the website, and I think I'm enjoying the type of content they're delivering. You should bookmark this right now if you have a slightest of interest in cybersecurity or hacking news.

With that, we came to the end of the article about the top 7 websites you should follow if you’re a tech enthusiast. Reading tech content has been one of my favorite tasks to do in a day. And I'm sure there must be hundreds of people like me who like reading tech news and articles.

While taking a short break from work, I usually browse these websites to get myself updated with the latest technology trends and news. By doing this, I keep an eye on any major smartphone launches or any big updates on mobile apps that I use.

Further, it helps me stay updated with the latest security compromises and hacks happening and how to keep ourselves safe from them.

If you’re also a tech enthusiast like me, you should start following them and reading them in your leisure time. It will help you increase your knowledge and become an expert in the latest tech trends in the industry.

This content is accurate and true to the best of the author’s knowledge and is not meant to substitute for formal and individualized advice from a qualified professional.
