5 Everyday Items We Don't Know Were Discovered Accidently
We use a lot of things everyday but most of us don't know that how they were discovered there are some everyday use items that were discovered by accident. Who knew that accidentally discovered things could be that much helpful and famous.
Here we have made a list of such five things.
In 1853 in a restaurant in New York a customer constantly complained of the fried potatoes to be too thick. The chief George Crum got fed up from this and fried very thin sliced potatoes with salt sprinkled on them. This became the most favourite snack.
In 1968 a scientist Spencer Silver while trying to make a super strong Adhesive finally ended up making a super weak one. One of his colleague while attended his seminar struck upon the idea of using the adhesive for sticking book marks which later developed into sticky notes.
Today's most favourite beverage Coca Cola was first made by a pharmacist John Pemberton as a medicine which treated upset stomach, headache, and fatigue it contained Cocaine till 1923 which gave the term Coke it was later removed from the formula of Coca Cola.
A cannon engineer accidentally placed a hot iron on his pen few moments later ink ejected from the pen which became the foundation for ink jet printer.
After working a long time with coal tar a chemist Constantin Fahlberg came home to have dinner without washing his hands he noticed everything to have a sweet taste later he found out that the sweet taste was due to saccharin.
