5 inch N9000 (i9220) MTK 6575 Android 4.0.3 Smartphone

Updated on October 13, 2012

N9000 Smartphone...Sometimes big is better!

This lens is a review of the N9000 (i9220) Smartphone that offers tons of features and great hardware to support the needs of even the most demanding power user. Tons of accessories also accompany this device at an affordable price that everyone meet.

I have been using this as my personal phone for about a month and have come to love it and all that it can do. As always I will tell you about the negatives too...Yes, there are things that I do not like about this device as well.

MTK 6575 1GHz Dual Core CPU

The processor is snappy and does a great job at handling the most demanding of task.

Tons of Accessories

In the box are a handful of accessories:

2 x batteries

1 x plastic back cover

1 x leather front cover (attached to plastic back)

1 x stylus pen

1 x screen protector with chamois

1 x universal charger

1 x US wall charger adapter

1 x car charger

1 x USB to micro USB cable

1 x Set of stereo earphones with mic

1 x English manual

Leather cover both aesthetically appealing and good for protection.

While the phone to me is aesthetically appealing, the leather case only adds to this. Also included is a plain plastic back that does not have the protective front cover.

Textured plastic back attached to leather front cover

While the back of the phone is made of plastic the feel is good and the texture helps to prevent slipping out of ones hand.

Speaker at lower left corner and Android logo

Sound quality from this single speaker is great with very good volume and decent sound quality. Whether using the phone for hand free talking, playing game, movies or music, I think that you will find it to have both good volume and sound quality.

8mp auto focus camera with flash

The camera takes great pictures and the flash can also be used as a flashlight via the built in flashlight app. The auto focus feature is also nice as it aids in the overall picture quality.

Dual SIMs + Micro SD card slot + 2800 mAh battery compartment

The dual SIMs have dual standby and can be used simultaneously. I have tested this unit with AT&T, T-Mobile, H2o, NET10 and Simple mobile so you have a fairly good set of choices to choose from. The Memory is expandable to 64GB allowing for more than enough data storage for apps music, videos and movies. Battery life is good and can be used a full 8 hours using the phone continually.

I had the pleasure of using this phone for a month and it served me well.
