A review of the Google Nexus 4 phone

Updated on October 8, 2013

Google Nexus 4

This Nexus 4 is a product made from the combined efforts both of Google and
LG corporations. It can rightfully be said to be one of the best LG smart
phones produced so far. The Nexus 4 is designed with a beautiful display
and is one of the first smart phones to run on the android jelly bean
4.3,and it’s a number one choice for anybody who is an Android lover,
because, it was designed to display any Android news first before it gets
to other android devices. It comes with a 1.7GHz processor accompanied with
a 2GB RAM and Snapdragon A-chip. The device supports the 2G, 3G but lacks
support for the 4G network and LTE. The phone is encased in glass, that is,
the front and back sides of the device is covered with thin clear glass,
this gives it more protection makes it look just sleek and classy. And it
comes with a powerful primary camera of 8MP.and a not so wow secondary
camera of 1.2 MP. It also comes with two memory options of 8GB and 16GB
with no external memory slot in place, ad comes with a wireless charging
support.

Major Turn ups or unique features that makes the Nexus 4 splendid
includes :

  1. It is one of the few devices that run on Android 4.3 Operating system.
  2. Compared to the many wonderful features it comes with, Google made the Nexus 4 to be cheaper. The Nexus 4 is quite affordable when compared to other smart phone within the range.
  3. The Quad-core processor sandwiched with a 2GB RAM makes the processing speed of the Nexus 4 to be super fast.

Coming to the cons of these devices, these are the major fall outs of the
Nexus 4:

  1. In this age of fast LTE data speed, the device lacks 4G and the LTE Features.
  2. The glass that is used to sandwich the front and back of the phone can easily break. Especially the back glass cover.
  3. The memory space can not be expanded. Its limits are just 16GB.
  4. The battery is inbuilt, so it cannot be easily replaced when it develops a fault.

In conclusion, this Nexus 4 is can be ranked to be among the best smart
phones available in the market now, and if you can over-look its minor
faults and cons, especially the lack of 4G network and limited memory
space, this phone is a perfect device with a fast processor and gives you
back more value than your money.
