Aerocool Strike-X Case (review)
Aerocool Strike-X PC Case is an ultimate Mid Tower case, especially for gamers. Its firm and sharp design makes it unique and incomparable. Let's just start with its features.
There are two versions of Strike-X cases; one in black and other in red. Both versions have a giant X on left side and upper panel. The framework is made up with 0.6 mm Japanese steel and supports high-end graphic card and SSD Drive. Each Hard Disk Drive bracket has fan holes to increase the capability of HDD cooling. It also supports water-cooling. There are 2 USB ports, 1 headphone and 1 microphone port on the front panel. Smart Cable Management has been provided to arrange the cables nicely.
When you buy the case, you will get 3 pre-installed fans. The case supports mini ATX and normal ATX motherboards. The power supply unit has to be placed under the motherboard. The mid tower supports VGA card up to 295 mm. The air cooling system is excellent, as both the case and the fans stimulate the air flow. The mid tower has 4 stands which enhances the stabilisation. Both side panels have a handle to open the case. They also have screws with grid which makes it easy to construct. All pre-installed fans and the front panel have LEDs, making the midi-tower visually appealing.
In my opinion the best thing about this mid tower is the cooling system. The case and the fans cool the system remarkably, even when the computer requires heavy load of power. Moreover, the cable management is great as helps to arrange the internal components neatly. The lights and the large X design are really the icing on the cake. However, there is one thing that I don’t like. When you install the video card you need to pull out a metal plate, but you cannot place that metal back. This makes that area uncovered and it can also get dirty quickly.
I hope this review is helpful. If you are thinking to buy this Aerocool case, it's available at Amazon.
