Prices of Android phones in coming down day by day. When Android phones were first released to market, there was no phone below Rs.10000($200). But now there is a good variety of phones even under Rs.5000($100), to choose from. See the list of Android phones in India below 5000.

Spice MI-270 (Price. Rs. 3500)

It is one of the most cheap Android phones available in the market today. It is a dual SIM phone also. This phone running on Android 2.2 Froyo is powered by 600MHz processor and offers Android experience at a low price. 2.8 inch resistive screen is the only factor that is creating problem to enjoying Android experience, but stils it offers 240x320 resolution. It offers a 2MP camera, which is enough for those who wont take much photos. Battery of 1000mAh is what you can expect for this price. It offers most of the features of a smartphone, like wi-fi, GPS etc, but 3G connectivity is missing. It also possess a 214MB internal memory and 190MB RAM which is enough to do simple multitasking.

But for this price some drawbacks also have to be there. 3G is not available. Resistive touch is not responsive. No headphone is provided along with the phone.But you cannot expect more for this price. Overall for the price it is really good phone

It possess all other functionality of smartphone like 3G, wi-fi etc. In short it is a value for money for phone for those who are looking for a low budget Android phone.

It is an Android phone released by Micromax to get the full low budget android market. It offers features that are not available in any of the present day phones of this price. It can offer full Android experience. This 650MHz processor powered Android 2.3 Gingerbread phone is Dual SIM also. Another hindering factor in present day lowest budget Android phones is its resistive touch screen. But in this phone 3.1 inch capacitive screen which offers you full Android experience. Its internal memory is 512MB, out of which 200MB is available for the user. Another one plus point that Micromax uses to promote this phone is the digital voice assistant in the phone called AISHA. It is a voice operated digital assistant like SIRI in iPhone. Camera of 2MP is of moderate quality. Battery of 1200mAh can support the phone for one full day. It offers all features of a good smartphones including 3G, wi-fi etc. In short it is a worth buy phone at this price.

In addition to these there are some more Android phones below Rs. 5000 limit. But some has stopped production. But still you will be able to find some in different store.

      Try CellAllure, cellallure.com they have really good smartphones that run on the newest version of android. They are fully unlocked and inexpensive.

      Alcatel has some good Android phones below the price range. But when I checked, I couldn't find them in any of the stores. how did you get it? Thanks for reminding me about Alcatel.
