Why Mac Computers?

For a long time; I have been a strong fan of windows, starting with the longtime old companion windows XP to the latest windows 8.1. Windows has been my brainchild until very recently when I discovered the competence of the Apple's MacBook Pro MGXA2LL/A 15.4 inch with retina display.

Of course; the Windows Vs Mac computers is a war that no one wins. However, the bitter truth is that Mac has a fast and intuitive operating systems when compared to windows OSs on the same technological environment.

Another interesting observation that I have made over the period that I have used Mac; is that Windows based operating systems; especial windows 7 & 8 can perform much faster on a Mac computer than they can do on a Windows-based PC with the same specifications.

As such; since the performance of a given operating system also depends on other hardwere aspects such as the processor; this is an indication that Mac computers use powerful processors than the counter part's windows computers.

Still on the plus side; Mac computers can run a Linux and Windows operating systems simultaneously for free on the same platform; providing two or more computers for the price of one PC. For some reasons; this is not possible with Window-based computers as they can only run Windows operating systems; not mentioning file-format issues with Windows-based systems.

Another advantage of Mac over Windows PCs is on graphic display: I am really loving the excellent graphic display that comes with the MacBook Pro 15.4" laptop. The capability of image and video display is far much out of my expectation as compared to what I have experienced with the latest Windows 8.1.

And finally; what am bout to confirm about Mac is the alleged low maintenance cost and resistance to virus attack. I would love a Mac computer that is reliable and easy to maintain; as opposed to Windows PCs, which are very expensive in the long run due Copyright purchases and are more vulnerable to malware attacks.

The low cost of maintenance on the side of Mac PCs automatically off sets the high initial cost of buying Mac systems: This means that in the long run; Windows computers may still be expensive when compared to Mac computers.
