Applications for Android

Updated on August 24, 2012

‘Background applications’ is considered as a crucial feature of Android phones. However, it can also turn out to be a big headache. Several applications run in the background. Applications are often unable to be closed. E-mail sink is possible any time. Internet is always available (GPRS). But unwanted running of these applications make the battery run out in few hours. Though Android is famous for several extraordinary features, battery charge would drain out soon (not more than two days). Android users, therefore desperately require a task killer in android.

Google Play Store (a great source of android apps)

Google play store is a good friend of Android phones. Applications for android are available here. Google android applications are found to be of great help to Android phone users. They have come up with several free applications that would kill unwanted applications and prolong battery charge. Android phones are blessed with abundant applications that are useful for different operations. These highly useful applications are termed as task killers. The best of the task killers is Advanced Task Manager version 1.6.0 by INFOLIFE. This is a highly useful android kill application.

Advanced Task Manager version 1.6.0 by INFOLIFE (application killer android). Advanced Task Manageris one of the best android phone applications. This is a wonderful android kill application.

  • The chief features of Advanced Task Manager or ATM
  • Start up kill – unwanted applications will be killed as soon as the phone gets switched on
  • Auto kill – Applications that are not included in the ignore list would be automatically killed.
  • Regular kill – Application would be killed even in special intervals
  • Applications can be moved to SD card
  • Applications can be uninstalled

Advanced Task Manager or ATM can be installed from Google play store. Application should be opened and the menu button of the phone should be pressed. Setting would be opened soon. Setting can be opened and the necessary changes can be made. In the settings page you have the options automatically start up, notification bar icon, enable autokill, autokill notice, enable regular kill, regular kill notice, startup kill, and show available memory. You can go for these options.

Following this, you can create the ignore list which include the applications that should not be killed by Advanced Task Manager or ATM. Mandatory applications that need to be run can be put in this ignore list. In order to do this, you should hold on the unwanted applications as task list appears when ATM opens. These applications would be added to the ignore list. Following that you can go the settings page and open the delay time for autokill and give ‘no delay’ option. Regular kill frequency can be given as ‘every half an hour’. Delay time for startup kill can be kept as 3 Seconds.

From the settings window you can move to ‘services’ option and ‘uninstaller’ option. In the services page you can find the downloaded, all, on SD card, and running application list. In the ‘on SD Card’ applications you can tick the necessary ones and move to the SD card and back to the phone. If you transfer the application from the phone to SD card, phone would achieve a better functionality. ‘All Application’ can be opened and we can uninstall or close what we want. Moreover we can uninstall everything together by the uninstaller option.

Advanced Task Manager version 1.6.0 is therefore a wonderful application for android phone. This android kill application helps users get rid of unwanted applications and save their battery charge.
