Bubblews is an urealiable scam website - don't bother registering!

Don't fall for internet scams! If it's too good to be true, it's simply not true!
Don't fall for internet scams! If it's too good to be true, it's simply not true!

My story

I registered as a Bubblews member in February 2013. I decided to give it a shot, because the website's premise was amazing and there were many people claiming they were getting paid.

The website claimed that they are going to pay me one cent for each view, like and comment a post of mine gets and the minimal length of a post is 400 characters (not words - characters!!!). What? This is amazing! It means that if I get a 1000 views and 10% of the people like and comment, I'll be earning 12 dollars from this one post! This is the greatest CPM ever, right?

As always, when something is too good to be true, it's not! Bubblews is not a good place to try and earn money, because they don't deserve to be trusted.

Anyway, I decided to register and see if they would actually pay me. I started publishing and soon I reached to needed sum of money in my account to redeem it. It took them a lot of time and a bit of nagging, but they actually paid me my first one. This is what still keeps them (and all other long terms scams) afloat - they pay you from time to time, especially in the beginning.

So in the beginning they paid me, but now they owe me two payments of over 25 dollars each and they are not answering any of my attempts to get in touch with them. So my story in Bubblews ends in a huge disappointment and hours of work going to the garbage. Well, at least, I learned something I knew before - when something looks like a scam - it's always a scam, so don't bother registering and working there!

Their "CEO" says they are something revolutionary and that they are a new breed of social network. But they are something very old - a scam!
Their "CEO" says they are something revolutionary and that they are a new breed of social network. But they are something very old - a scam!

So what's wrong with Bubblews

Here is a list of the things that are wrong with the website/service:

  1. They don't always pay and are very very slow in processing payments.
  2. If they decide not to pay you, they never explain to you why or never get in touch with you.
  3. Their website looks very unprofessional and offers limited functionality.
  4. Their website is often slow and buggy.
  5. They delete posts criticizing them or asking questions about not being paid.
  6. The over content quality on the website is very low and so is their search ranking.
  7. Contacting them is next to impossible despite the fact that their contact form says they are going to get back to you within 24 hours. This is lie and will not happen even in 24 days, especially if you are asking for your payment.

Bottom line: Don't bother registering for Bubblews - you are only going to waste your time!

I've heard a lot about the history of this site, most unflattering.

      Great hub!

Bubblews owes me three payments dating back to September 9, 2013. They have completely ignored my emails, yet continued to earn on my work. I've reported them to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) for fraud. I suggest that anyone else who has not received payment does the same--the more complaints, the better! Bubblews is inviting members of the general public to contribute to their website under false pretences. As disorganized as they may seem, their calculations are very precise. In order to pay an astronomical $0.01 per interaction, it's their policy to pay only 60% of contributors.

I know, there are many stories like this. Most of their users are not satisfied and leave the site after they don't get paid. They simply should not be trusted and used.

You have beautifully summed up my frustration there... They sent me a message, "Explain how you got so many views though you have only 40 connections on site here?"

I told them that I have more than 2000 subscribers on Facebook and thats where I share.

The next thing I know is that I have been thrown out an my user name deleted. Bubblews owes me $40.

Well, you can try to redeem it, they are so inconsistent and disorganized that they might just pay you this time. It doesn't hurt to try, but I doubt it's going to be any use. But what else to do?

There are a lot of people who catch the bait. They are the wrong place to invest time and effort in.

I wasted my time with them so I'd rather other people won't. Even if they pay you once, it doesn't mean that they will pay you ever again.
