Toshiba has the reputation as the most environmentally friendly netbooks. Toshiba mini is designed with an overized touchpad and touchpad buttons, metal keyboard and textured lid. The mini NB305 is even better than it's predecessor, sporting a sleeker chassis, louder speakers, and Intel's latest Atom N450 processor. It has a battery life of 8.5 hrs. The NB305 comes in blue, brown, or white.

Toshiba NB305 has 10-inch widescreen and the 1,024-by-600 resolution. One of its main feature is its typing and navigating experience. Its keyboard, touchpad, and mouse buttons are large enough to rival that of full-size laptops. There are three USB ports, one of which can charge any USB peripheral while the netbook is turned off.

NB305 uses the 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and new Intel GMA 3150 graphics. Toshiba is able to keep its status as one of the most environmentally friendly netbooks in the business, acquiring green certifications such as EPEAT Gold, Energy Star 5.0, and RoHS. The company itself has an excellent recycling program in place should your netbook reach the end of its life cycle.

Amazon has great offers for you if you planning to buy Toshiba. Check the links in the right and in the bottom. If you don't like my suggestions, just click on one of them and you can search amazon for any other types of netbook.

Amazon also has a reversible ultra shock water resistance Neoprene Laptop notebook Sleeves. You can get `them for various laptop sizes as well as in different colours, black, pink, red, brown, white.....

3. Aser

3. Acer Aspire One 532h

Acer's maintained a steady lead in the race to sell as many netbooks as possible in the past year. That's largely because the Taiwanese manufacturer figured out early that basic netbooks at lower prices would fly off shelves. One of the interesting feature is the multicolored, metallic-like blue and black lid, which reminds us of those old school hypercolor stickers that would change color with heat. It'd be pretty cool if the lid could do that, but the only thing that changes here is the amount of smudgy fingerprints that start to overtake it.

Instead of a traditional keyboard as on its older netbooks, the 532h has Acer’s FineTip keyboard, which is completely flat on top, and has a slight space between each key. Also, it’s larger than when compared to older netbooks.

Some of the key features of this model are

  • Sleek two-tone design
  • Long battery life
  • Relatively large, textured touchpad
  • Above-average audio quality

4. HP Mini

4. HP Mini 311 (Windows 7)

HP Mini is a 11.6-inch netbook ($199 through Verizon Wireless with a two-year contract and $100 online discount, but regularly priced at $399) not only has a bigger screen than other subsidized models, but it features Nvidia Ion graphics, providing plenty of muscle for Windows 7 Premium.

HP Mini has RAM of DDR3/1333 and it’s soldered to the mainboard, leaving a SODIMM slot free for an additional 2GB of RAM. The screen has a maximum resolution of 1366x768, significantly better than the standard 1024x600—for one thing, websites and programs built for 1024x768 won’t break. And thanks to the Ion platform, the Mini 311 can display 720p HD video, and output 1080p over the HDMI port.
The Mini 311’s shell is slim and attractive, with a white or black patterned lid and a silver-and-black chassis. The screen is bright and not overly reflective.

Some of the key features of this model are

  • Very good graphics performance
  • Built-in mobile broadband
  • Stylish design
  • Comfortable keyboard
  • Loud speakers

Quick product specifications

CPU: 1.6-GHz Intel Atom N270

5. Dell

5.Dell Mini 10 (1012)
The netbook's build quality is excellent -- it feels remarkably robust for such a small device. On the standard model, the lid is glossy black, while the wrist rest has a textured matte finish. You can add a colourful custom design to the lid for an additional $30. Its battery life is good too. It lasted for nearly 5 hours in our intensive battery test, so you should get over 9 hours under normal usage conditions.
Dell mini has 10-inch and 1,366x768-pixel LCD screen . It's very bright and clear, with the result that photos look particularly stunning. The keyboard is surprisingly large too.

In this article I have included 5 best laptops ranked by some of the laptop reviewers. You can get all the laptops at an affortable price from Amazon. If you also want some laptop accessories like laptop bags, mouse headphones or webcam check on the Amazon links in the right and in the bottom. If you didnot find the item in the list below, click on one of the links and then you can search Amazon direclty from here and purchase it.

Thank you. If price were not a consideration and if traveling a great deal and if what I want to carry with me is almost like a desktop, fast, internet accessible even in Timbuktu, what would you recommend?
