Content Creation Made Easy With MyBlogU

Updated on May 16, 2015

Whether you are a blogger or a writer, you know that coming up with a content idea, researching, and writing an article can be time consuming. But there is a way to brainstorm ideas and create content much faster - and it is called MyBlogU.

I've been using the platform consistently now for over a month, and I have found it extremely useful for coming up with new article angles, ideas, and content.

While MyBlogU offers you more than just content creation, that is the focus of this article. But I want to say that once you get there, you will find that it really is a place to get ideas, get yourself known, get your work shared, and make new connections that help you boost your reputation, productivity, and success.

Following are two of my favorite things that MyBlogU can do for your content creation.

1. Brainstorming

First, there is a brainstorming section where you can ask other bloggers and writers to help you brainstorm ideas for your articles. The brainstorm can be on any issue you want. For instance, I often ask other writers to help me think of new ideas and angles for my dating niche website; however, you will find there is a wide variety of topics approached on the site.

Anyone can contribute to your brainstorm request, and you have the ability to approve the idea or ask for more information to develop the idea even further. Once approved, all of the ideas sent to you will stay in your 'idea database' for you to access at any time you want.

You can also add to-do notes to your ideas and get reminders around those to-do's to help you stay on track with your writing.

When you use the idea, you will be able to use the whole idea they gave you in your article - or just a part of the idea, cite them for their contribution (give them credit so that they get extra exposure from your readers as well as a link back to their site), and essentially have instant content without a lot of work. I have had some amazing ideas given to me that I didn't need to edit at all, and they bulked up my article with original and interesting content.

For instance, I created a brainstorm idea asking people what talents guys could develop to attract women, and I got a lot of ideas that led to a lot of articles. One guy, David, gave me an awesome answer that inspired me to write an article that got a lot of attention on social media for me. You can see the article here, and note that David was the inspiration and contributor.

2. Interviews

As bloggers and writers, we all know the value of a good interview. Not only does it provide unique insights and unique content, but it gets content shared because the people being interviewed will promote their interview to their followers.

The interview section on MyBlogU can get you some interesting answers that are easy to publish. All you have to do is create the interview in an easy to follow step-by-step process and then wait for the answers to roll in.

Creating An Interview On MyBlogU

Aspects you can set include:

  • Interview deadline
  • Minimum length of answer (Anywhere from one word to infinity!)
  • Which blog you are going to post the interview on
  • Whether or not you want the interview to be shown to the public
  • Exactly what you want to get from the interview in a short description
  • As many interview questions as you want

When you have enough answers, publishing is a simple as selecting the answers you want to publish and grabbing the HTML to put on your site. Their picture, link to their blog, small bio, and complete interview answer will be included in the HTML.

I have created extremely long, unique, and interesting content simply from the answers I've received during my interviews. In fact, one interview produced over 1300 words just from the answers I received, and the article that resulted was 2183 words. See that article here.

You do not have to publish all the interview answers that you get. If you decide that a few answers are not what you want, you can simply select the rest of the answers and reject the ones you did not select - all with one push of a button.

Seriously - Content Creation Is Easy On MyBlogU

For the time that I have been using the platform, I have easily created unique articles that are usually over 1000 words.

I've saved a ton of time, not only by using other people's contributions, but because the inspiration that you get from other people makes coming up with content ideas, researching, and writing much easier.

Two brains are better than one, three brains are better than two, and the amount of brains that collectively meet on MyBlogU can really help you create interesting and long content that you wouldn't be able to create on your own.

@Flourish - Another thought I had is that helping other people and giving them ideas is a great way to build relationships with other people. Those relationships will help you get more exposure and success in the long run. Sometimes helping others without an expectation can really benefit you more than wanting something in return.

@Flourish - That's true about the dating niche - everyone has some experience to contribute!

It is important to note that all contributions to a brainstorm or interview get credit back to their blog or social media profile, so they get exposure from your readers and a link back to their site, which helps build their blog up too. It's a win-win!

At first I couldn't see writers giving ideas away to others, but your dating niche is a perfect example of a niche that many of us would not write in but which most of us have the life experience to offer creative fuel to another writer's fire. Great examples! Best of luck to you!
