Delete Firefox Drop down Quick links History
I am sure that you have noticed that in Firefox whenever you type in a website address and push enter, Firefox adds it to that little drop down list when you begin typing or when you click on that little down arrow to the right of the address bar. Well, for whatever reasons you may have, you may want to remove those quick links from that drop down list.
Select the site you want to remove
Once that drop down list of sites appears just start hitting the "down arrow" on your keyboard. You will notice a dark highlight appear over the sites that you move down to on that list.
Using the delete key
Once you have highlighted the site that you want to remove from the list, all you have to do is just push the “delete” key on your keyboard, and presto! That website has been removed from the list.
Turning off suggest sites drop down list
You can also turn off the “suggest sites” drop down list from even appearing if you don't want anything to show up when you are typing in a website. To do this you just have to go to Tools > Options > Privacy > Location Bar > Nothing.
Show only bookmarks
You can also from that list select only History or Bookmarks. So if you only wanted it to suggest websites in the drop down list that were in your bookmarks you could select the Bookmarks option. Cool huh?
I hope this tip helps
someone out there. :)
