Do you know about those annoyning Facebook message groups that you did not sign up for? Stop them now!

Updated on April 2, 2015

It can be fun, but then it can be annoying too!

Have you been added to one of these without wanting to be?

Facebook can be a lot of fun, as we all know. However, there are many down sides to it as well. One of them is a newer occurrence where you get a lot of messages from people you do not know. Does that sound familiar? If so, you need to know a few things. This is very annoying and you can get spammed and hacked if you do not stop it.

Here is the first thing to do.

Understand that almost everyone on there was put on this list against there will, and by someone else. Sending out messages that say " Stop sending me this" or I don't know you, leave me alone" only makes it worse! Trust me on this. You are sending those to people and reporting people that have nothing to do with it! They are in the same boat as you are. Report them all you want, and tell them to stop all you want, but this will not end until you escape it.

You will keep getting those messages and now you will get new ones from other aggravated people saying " I don't know you either, stop sending me this nonsense" .

This will go on and on until you fix it. How! You have to stop sending replies and leave the group!

Here is how to quit all of these groups!

It is very simple to stop this. Just go up to "Actions" and click. Then scroll down to "Leave Conversation" and once you click, this crazy messages will stop! Please be a "Good Samaritan" and leave these groups. You only make it worse for everyone else when you report it, and send replies telling people to knock it off. Thank you for reading, and be safe and smart out there!
