Google Chromecast HDMI Player
Why I Purchased A Chromecast
For a while now I have been wanting to do away with my cable and phone bill. I purchased a subscription with Netflix and started to believe finally I could go without cable.
I first started by watching Netflix on my 7 inch tablet. It wasn't great but it was okay; but what if I was watching with friends? So I didn't cancelled the cable bill. I then found out that I could use an HDMI cable to hook directly from my tablet to my TV. So, I purchased an HDMI cable and hooked my tablet to the TV. I made the call and cancelled my phone and cable services. Now I'm saving about $50 dollars per/month. If that doesn't sound like much then let me say that's $600 per/year including my subscription to Netflix. I don't miss that bill at all.
I could have stop there but I heard about Chromecast and the price influenced me to give it a try. I love that the device is location neatly behind the TV with no additional cords or wires hangout. And that it was so easy to setup and use. However, I do have to move the device to the TV I'm watching. But I not crying about that.
