Google+ For Android and iOS

Updated on April 12, 2016

The Rewind

A while back I discussed in a video tutorial on how to setup your Google+ for desktop and PC and Macs. Now I am going to discuss how you can get started using the Google+ application for mobile versions of iOS and Android.

What Do I Need To Start Google+ On Mobile

Now to start off, with any major Google applications, you will need a Google account or just your main Gmail address. Now with a Gmail address and Google account, you have full access to Google apps and it's Google Play Store which is found on Android devices. Google+ usually comes included as a main application for android and some cases you would have to search in the app store depending which devices you own. For Nexus users, it is considered a stock app for Google and Android. These users might not need to download this app. So, for iOS users and some other Android owners, you will have to go into their rightful app stores and look for it and download then install it. What does app look like, you asked? The Google+ application icon is the app that’s in a red circle with a G and plus sign in the center of it. Have an image below to show.

Now that you have the app downloaded, you asked, what’s next? Glad you asked, now follow these steps and very carefully.
