Google Real Time Search Updates

Google Search Revisted

How to get Updated Search on Google

This is just a short hub, letting people know in case they hadn't heard that Google Search now has an update feature which lets you see the latest results for your search.

Because old habits die hard, it is easy to miss a new feature and just do what you always do (and get what you always got!).

So take advantage, switch your head around on a new angle. Or should that be your mouse pointer? Anyway...

To use the new feature..go to the Google Search Page as you would normally do to search something.

Now type in your keyword (in the example I have typed Obama).

Click on the top left link next to WEB which says Show Options...

A menu will appear and simply navigate to Updates. Whammo! You will now be up to the minute on pages on Obama.

Actually, you will be up to the second! Obama is a very topical keyword with a high update rate (that's why I chose it).

While you have the menu showing there are other links to explore so have fun.

You can check Images, Videos, Blogs and much more for your chosen search term.

You can even check the Wonder Wheel. What's that? I hear you ask.

Let me know your thoughts on that one, I'm not saying I have all the answers so Felicitations of the Season to all my hub friends!

Did you click on a wonder wheel link? It sends you deeper into the topic and subtopics - the model reminds me of molecules back in chemistry class. On the right of it you'll see the results.
