Android is the most powerful, and the most widely used mobile-based operating system.Its smoothness and speed, has won the hearts of millions.Its famous for its unique design, and signature bot, which is its logo.Android is an outcome of millions invested by Google.It was started on the market, where Symbian was the ruler, but Arrival of this guy changed every thing. Because of its popularity, There are more developers for this platform as compared to others. That is why, most of the popular apps were developed for android only, and then after versions for other platforms launched.You can't run those apps directly in PC, bu still there are some ways to Run Android On PC.

A brief History

Lets Break the Floor ! - The first thing Google May though, when they decided to develop android At that time, no one could expect that Google will jump on the mobile platform world, But it not only did it, but it crossed the limits of mobile Os development ! At the beginning, Google faced some downs with android, but these happenings never made them stop.

After that, a time came when Google`s Os started recognizing by everyone and gradually, it became a competitor of Symbian, which was the most widely used Os of that time.

There was group of world`s most intelligent programmers, whose hard work helped in raising the reputation of this platform. Within a year android made a history, by tackling Nokia`s Symbian After This extraordinary achievement, android faced a big down due to the arrival of apple`s iPhone 4.

The company introduced some killer features on their new phone, which made a huge loss of Google. But this down did not discourage the engineers, they worked even more to make their platform smooth and powerful. Google hired many engineers, who developed many apps which gone viral like angry birds, which later came on other platforms too !

Today, Android is The King in mobile market.But for reaching on this position It has to face many challenges.

How It Created a Whole New Identity of The term “Smartphone

Before android, smartphones were phones that can send emails and allow its user to access the web.The most common smartphone were use to be Blackberry Bold, which ruled the market at that time.After the occurrence of apple`s confress of 2007, The term smartphone had changed.Whenever somebody heard this term, usually they gets an image of a full touch screen phone. But as Android went popular, things changed.

Before, smartphones were usually manufactured by Motorola blackberry and apple as they limited their working platform with them only. But Android enabled small companies including micromax to launch their smartphones on the market.

Before android, only rich people can have a smartphone. But as you know, today android blessed us with a $ 35 Tablet PC !

Before android, Not everyone can become an app-developer. But now, you can sign up at google play for $25, and submit your app there, which if go viral, can make you a millionaire !

Before android, the only way to earn from your apps was seeling you app. But now, you can earn millions, even by providing the app for free as Google allows its developers to associate there adsense account with their apps, so that they can earn from CPC and CPM ads.

Other Changes : Before Android, Temple was a place, where people do worship and Cats were used to be animals that can`t talk !


With no doubt, android has enabled us to do many things that we could not do without it.Now, android has won the market and is moving towards its bright future, where it has to face other competitors.
