How To Root Android

Redmi 1s to be run on a stock rom MIUI
Enabled USB Debugging. (Settings> About Phone> Tap Build Number 5 times for Enable Developer Options> go back to Settings> Developer Options> check / tick the USB Debugging
Backup your important data

Here's how:

  1. Download files below
  2. Copy the file that you downloaded to the smartphone's internal memory (ie not in a folder)
  3. Rename root Xiaomi 1s to
  4. Smartphone Reboot into recovery mode (open app updater tool didalm folder)
  5. In MI recovery menu, select the language and then reboot into recovery mode
  6. Select and confirm Install to System
  7. Reboot smartphone, select and confirm the option reboot
  8. After rebooting, Go to Security Options and allow permissions to enable Root Permission
  9. Done !! you have managed to root
