How To Create A Transparent Back Ground Using Paint.net

In this hub we are going to learn how to create a transparent background using paint.net so that you can add it to your website banner/ you-tube profile picture or whatever it may be. It is so easy and only takes two steps it literally takes like 30 seconds. Step one you need to find an image that you are going to use. I found a motorcycle helmet on google I thought this would make it a lot easier as it is a very basic design and it does not have very many different colors. To the right is the picture which I used to do this.

Now you need to open your image using paint.net. If you don't have this software you can download it for free online. Just search paint.net in google and their website should come up.

Now that you have imported your image into paint.net you need to select the magic wand which is above the paint bucket icon. Below is an image

Now get your magic wand and select the background that you want to remove which in this photo is the white part around the helmet. Select this part and the part which you select should become highlighted. Now all you have to do is hit delete and you now have a logo with a transparent background which you can now add to your banner or whatever it may that you are making.
