How-To Create an iPhone App in Minutes with AppMkr | No Programming | Android | Mobile

The AppMkr (http://www.appmakr.com/) framework and others like them are providing huge opportunities for developers, authors, marketers of all kinds. Build an iPhone in minutes with no programming. There are already thousands of apps from many huge web site. Maybe you will add yours to the collection. Here is a review of the process.

Choose Your Content

  1. Register and / or login into the site
  2. Choose the iPhone Mashup, others include (Android, Windows Phone)
  3. If you want to make an app from a web site, like a blog, a RSS feed or you have an app already on a web site, enter the url and click “Create App”
  4. On the next screen, you can enter a name for your app, the app icon and splash screen image. You can upload an icon from you hard drive and use the handy search field and search the web for one.

Customize Your App

Once you have saved your changes, you move to the next page, which is “Customize”. You can add extra tabs to your app like other rss feeds, comments, geo location, a photo album or a html or PhoneGap tab. The last tab can be quite powerful, giving a developer to add a custom html component or another app through PhoneGap.

Customize The App

Save and move to the next screen which happens to be “Notifications”. This screen informs you about their push notification feature and how to use it.

Add App Identification

The next screen will allow the developer can add information on their application: the title, a description, the web site URL, the Apple ID or Android name, the AppStore URL, the price of the app and a few more tidbits of information.

Monetize and Publish

The last two tabs will allow the developer to monetize their app and finally to publish the app. To publish an app to the IOS AppStore, a valid certificate from Apple is needed and must pass the same approval process as any other IOS app. The same goes for Android apps.
