Updated on January 28, 2014

I have seen after Facebook launched timeline features on Facebook profile page, lots of users liked it and accepted the changes. But there are still number of peoples who are missing their old Facebook layout and old profile. Some of those are claimed that they want their old Facebook profile back and remove the timeline from their profile page.

I got wondered when I have searched about it and I found one Facebook fan page which name is TimelineHaters and the name of fan page was "I hate FB Timeline, and want to disable it ASAP." TO my surprise the fanpage has liked by 9,498.Means approximately 9,498 users on Facebook didn't like the new timeline features.

Here in the side, I have provided screenshot which is my new Facebook Profile page with activated timeline feature. Now just fore tutorial purpose I had removed Facebook timeline from my Facebook account and it took around complete hour to get it back.

What I did to remove my Facebook timeline from my Facebook account, I went to timelineremove.com website and from there I have installed browser extension on my browser.Currently the website provides browser extension for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. I think this three browsers are enough to do the job.

After installing browser extension on browser, you will need to restart your browser and you have done. You can simply download extension for your browser from the links provided below.

All the pages have converted to timeline. As said by Singaporean, we have to adopt the changes. Thanks and voted up :)

      Hi,

is it even possible to remove timeline now? It is mandatory and all our personal profiles and pages are automatically converted to timeline. March 30, 2012 for pages and I think 29th March for personal profiles.

I like the old look, but yes, we have to adapt to changes and move on...

      Hey Mark,

It is little bit harder to set our mind with new timeline. That's it!!

Renovation is the rule of universal and I liked it.However this is for the people who wish to have their old layout back.

      Thanks for commenting:D

I still rock the old version. The time line is really difficult to navigate and it makes things harder not easier. Facebook sucks for even coming up with a stupid idea like a timeline. Like anyone on a social media site cares what happened more than a day ago anyway. Lame idea, lame layout, lame execution. Thanks for the info, I am sure it will help some people out there who got stuck with a time line.
