Evasi0n 7 iPhone jailbreak for IOS 7 comes after IOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 blues passed completely un-answered. The assumption that most iPhone users have now jumped ship to IOS 7x, makes it a more viable jailbreak option though.

In order to jailbreak IOS 7x and install Cydia on iPhones 4, 5, 5C & 5S, you will have to download a copy of Evasi0n 7 version 1.0.1.

This is an excellent article on how to proceed with jailbreaking. I have an old ios version because of an app that allows me to use the phone as a hotspot without jailbreaking. I've been hesitant to upgrade the ios because it will most likely go away, but I also had a bad experience jailbreaking on an ios4 system a few years back. I'm sure things have greatly improved. But for those who want to jailbreak, they should have no problem following your well-written steps! Thank you for sharing! Voted up and useful.
