Removing Your Laptop Battery From Your Acer Laptop
A while ago I needed to remove my battery from my Acer laptop. This was very confusing and frustrating however once I figured out how to do it I couldn't believe how easy it was. There are many reasons you may want to remove the battery. You may want to replace it with a new one or just give your laptop a rest. When trying to take my battery out of my laptop I almost took the whole thing apart before figuring out how to correctly remove it. I recorded a video for YouTube when I figured out how to do this and this video has received 30,000 views within the first year. This tells me that this is a problem that many other people are having therefore I thought I would write a hub and show you how easy it is to do.
Find The Switch To Release The Battery
The key to removing your battery is finding a switch that can slide from side to side. This switch should be located somewhere very close to the battery. On my Acer laptop the switch is located just below the battery. Just slide this switch to the other side and at the same time pull the battery out of the laptop. I have left a photo below which shows you where the switch is located on my laptop. If you have the same model as I do it should be in the same place.
