WordPress is an open source free web based software powered by PHP and MySQL that anyone can use to build and maintain a website or blog.

Tinsky, Thanks for the compliment and comment.

What i like about wordpress is you can have: Multiple authors ,clean design,Easy installation and upgrades. Its themes can be created in Dreamweaver(almost visually) which i find sexy.

Wordpress is best if you want to create a blog, if you want something more than a blog tiki-wiki rocks, but you also should check out joomla and drupal which are also easy to use.

Dexixy you've created some easy to follow instructions that is easy to read that beginners should find helpful. What are the features of word press that you like and is it easy to customize the design? (I've been using tiki wiki for the last few years and before that phpnuke.)
