Clean your PC Hard drive.

Ok, you've been a bit naughty on your PC, watching some porn, or perhaps you have financial or personal information that you've stored on your PC, and now you want to get rid of your PC.

HOW DO YOU CLEAN YOUR PC HARD DRIVE?

Well, easy way is to use a hammer.

However this isn't appropriate in today's society, as this is just a waste of resources if you follow this guide.

If you just want to clean your PC from your naughty Internet files, then just go to your browser, and look for the options. In all the browsers, firefox, Internet explorer, chrome. There is an option to clear your private data. This will clean out all your browsing history, and so keep your browsing life private.

If your looking to clean out your pc completely, then you can reformat your hard drive and re-install your operating system all over. This is an excellent option if your planning on still keeping your PC, but need to clean it out.

Just pop your original windows disk on the drive, and follow the install instructions, but first make sure all your important files are backed up, as you will lose everything.
Some people who have sold their pc's have used this method, and then people have recovered the data that you used to have, that's why i only recommend you use this method if your keeping the PC.

If your selling or upgrading and you want to safely remove everything the best way to do it is to use a software program which will "kill" your hard drive.
It wont actually murder it, what happens is your hard disk is given a low level format.
This means that every single storage molecule on your hard drive is individually erased & reset. One this happens, it is impossible to recover your data. Impossible.

Even the kids from the film hackers couldn't recover your data.
Neither could neo from the matrix.

There are lots of freeware software which will delete your existing pc data safely & easily.

Make no mistake though, if Allen Stanford had these low level format programs on his PC, he would have no problem with his computers having all the proof the FBI needed to bust him.

Good luck with your low level formatting.
