As easy as 1..2..3

What is a jailbreak? A jailbreak on an i pod touch is downloading an app called cydia. From here you can download free apps and games that would usually cost money, as well as apps apple does not offer. you can also customize your i pod all the way down to what your service label says. And its easy, just follow my step by step instructions, It only takes 10 minutes.

The fist thing you need to do it find the jail break software that you think is best. I prefer red snow, green poison, and black rain. download these, and save them to your computer. you will use them again.make sure you have the correct version of the jailbreak software to fit you ios, and never ever pay any one for jailbreak software. The software i listed is free and works the best. This would also be the time to pick if you want a tethered jailbreak or an untethered jailbreak.

The next thing you need to do is hook you i pod up to the computer, and close i tunes when it pops up. leaving it open wont hurt your i pod, but may make it more difficult to jailbreak.

if you haven't already shut down your i pod now would be the time to do so. it is required for the jailbreaking process.

follow the instructions the software will give you. Most of them are the same for every system, just make sure you do what it tells you to do.

Now let your i pod reboot this will take the longest time, and is the most important part. DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT HIT ANY BUTTONS UNTILL THIS PROCESS IS DONE. If you do you will have to restore you i pod to factory standard.

the next step is downloading cydia. most programs do this automatically. How ever there are some that dont. all the programs i listed are auto downloads. After that you are jailbroken. enjoy you new customizable i pod touch.
