How to make a slideshow with music

Updated on July 15, 2010

Programs You Will Need

To start out, your going to have to install an easy to use program.

just click here= http://explore.live.com/windows-live-movie-maker

After you install this, you're ready to get started.

Adding Pictures

Once you open the program, on the right hand side it's going to say something like "Drag videos and photos here or click to browse for them"

Put in all the pictures that you want to use for your slideshow. And don't worry about what order they are in because you can always go back and rearrange them.

Adding Effects To Your Pictures

There are many effects to choose from. These are under the tab labeled "Visual Effects". These are used to change the look of your selected image.

Also, more commonly used, are the animations. The animations are used for picture transitions, and it determines what it will look like when it goes from one picture to the next. My personal favorite is the fade in and fade out animation.

Adding Your Music

First, I recommend that you have iTunes.

Using iTunes, click on the song that you want in your slideshow, now drag it straight into your slideshow.

And thats all there is to it. Now click on the "Home" tab, and you'll see a small section towards the top of the page that says "sharing". Click on one of those options and you can easily burn your slideshow to a blank DVD or upload it to YouTube.

Enjoy (:
