Inside The Mind of Stephen Hawking
Stephen Hawking (Oxford, England)
Education and an Injury
Stephen Hawking has had lots of schooling. He first started college at University College, Oxford and in 1966 he achieved a PHD in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. Hawking is currently the Director of Research at the University of Cambridge in the U.K. This only scratches the surface of what this man has earned in higher learning.
During his college years, Hawking began to slowly suffer from and develop ALS or Motor Neurone disease. A slang term for it was Lou Gehrig's disease. First he had slurred speech and he would fall off balance and sometimes he would stumble to the ground. Over the years he has became speechless, using a machine to translate his text into real audio. This strong willed man has not let his diseases stop him.

Space Flight and A.I. is the Next Frontier
In Hawking's mind the earth only has so long before it ends so we have to build cities in outer space on other planets. Hawking believes that Artificial Intelligence is required to sustain human life but he warns of Super A.I. which could end up with robots becoming smarter than humans and taking over. This scenario sounds farfetched but it could be closer to reality than we think.
It could be an asteroid or nuclear war even but eventually earth will crumble and human life will need a new place or new space, should I say, in order to survive and not fade into the abyss. Elon Musk of Space X, Boeing and NASA are already on a quest to visit Mars and to one day populate the red planet.

Stephen Hawking believes that aliens exist, do you?
Overachiever and Personal Beliefs
Not only does Stephen Hawking not let his handicap get him down but he overcomes and excels with only the use of a single cheek muscle. Hawking has been studying, teaching and performing speeches and lectures for decades and he is not slowing down with time.
Sir Stephen Hawking is an Atheist as he has said that there is no God. Hawking believes science can solve and explain all things. Hawking is also not a fan of Philosophy and he has said that it was dead. When it comes to his theories they are based on facts and evidence. Anything less than proof is not the real deal.

Hawking's Thoughts on Aliens
Stephen Hawking definitely believes their are Aliens in space and he constantly warns of the dangers of possibly ever contacting them. Sometimes you have to be careful what you ask for because Hawking's believes we could be purged and the aliens could want to inhabit earth or at the very least get needed resources from it. Landing on a populated planet could result in us being seen as invaders and then the alien life can destroy us with ease.

Final Thoughts on Mr. Hawking
My opinion, overall anyway, of Stephen Hawking is that he is a very smart man and we should put stock into what he says.He has a high I.Q., he is well educated and he studies what he talks about constantly. I am not saying he is perfect or right about everything but his voice should be listened to. As far as A.I. becoming super A.I. and taking the world over similar to the film called "I Robot" is a scary thought indeed.
