I had promised that I would tell all of you when this happened. The message came today.

I had written another hub about the great stock market game ggfinances have online. I was originally just going to post a comment in that hub, but this deserves a hub in itself.

The iPhone game is now released. Vlad took his time and made sure everything worked well. I will be sharing some screenshots. It is tied in with the game we all can play online. This has huge advantages. You want to learn the world of stock investing, but you just do not have the time to sit behind your laptop or desktop computer watching stocks rise and fall.

Your smartphone can now be your classroom. By playing the stock market game, you can learn what systems work, and what doesn't. The mobile version of the game has all the buying and selling capabilities as the game on a regular PC.

Did I mention it is free? You can gain an understanding of the world of the stock market. Follow the blogs of the ones who do well with the game. You may even hire one as a financial adviser. Make your buys, or sell your stocks wherever you are with your iphone, ipad, or ipod touch.

An Interview

It was mid morning and I was on my 2nd pot of coffee. With several freelancing jobs going, I was feeling the thumping of that computer screen headache telling me to "walk away for a moment." The phone started ringing providing the escape I needed. Looking at the caller ID, I did not recognize the number, and I then recalled the message I had left with one of the founders of ggfinances. He was calling back for the interview.

Vladimir Harutyunyan spoke with a mixture of Armenian and East coast dialect that forced this Midwestern hillbilly to listen closely. What I heard told me I quite possibly was speaking with the "Mark Zuckerberg of Wall Street."

Vlad and his college buddy, Khachatur Grigoryan developed ggfinances back in 2012. I asked Vlad some basic questions:

Vlad & Greg Conversation

Greg: Why did you start ggfinances?

Vlad: I have watched people make bad decisions in investing. The main reason was a lack of education and guidance. Khachatur and I wanted to make a level playing field. On the website, they can learn, and experienced traders can be their guides. Educating the world about stock investing is the key.

Greg: In what ways does your website educate?

Vlad: We wanted to make every tool that major investors have available to everyone. We are continually developing to provide those tools. We have the stock screener along with charts and graphs. The screener will allow a person to follow their favorite stock and learn how it has been reacting. We also have a complete blog platform. Read the advice of those who are professionals in investing. The best part is the game! Our stock market game is 2nd to none. You can see how a person blogging is doing in the game. It is a win-win for both the common investor and those who have a financial advisement business.

Greg: Can anyone blog at ggfinances? What does it cost?

Vlad: It is free Greg, and yes, anyone can blog. The blog must be about financially related subjects.

Vlad and I spoke about many more things, but this was the gist of the conversation.

A free blogging platform and a free game....But how do they make money? It just wouldn't make sense to offer something such as this and not make money.

ggfinances does sell some advertising space. They are also looking for investors. The ultimate goal is to develop a social network for the financial world.

Wouldn't you have loved to bought into:

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Linkedin
  • Others

before they took off?

With the release now of the mobile version of the stock market game, and all the other advantages with ggfinances, buying into the company may be a very wise move.

Just contact Vlad via the ggfinances website.
