You think I'm irritated? Mad? Oh, you betcha!

A very old hub, but I find it comical!

Okay, here's my story for the past week. Days ago I called Comcast to get phone service. That's all I wanted, after I told them that's all I wanted, they go on and on about their Package of phone, internet, and cable. I tell them I'm not interested. I'm on the phone w/ them, they keep putting me on hold...I think I finally hung up. I was getting nowhere.

Now, I smile sarcastically; I set up a plan for a home phone for them to come by today. They did the same thing, kept me on the phone a 1/2 hour. Seriously, it's like they don't want me as a customer if I don't get the Fios package. Sheesh. So I'm finally set up for today, ok, they say the technician will be by from 8am-5pm so stay home all day. (Luckily, unknown to them, I am an at home worker.)

Well, I'm sure you'll guess, they never came. So I called and told them,. Another 1/2 hour call.....Darn! So they tell me they made a mistake and it's a copper wire not a Fios wire and they don't need a person to come by but to turn it on and hold on, we'll get you to someone that can set this up for you, and tell you when it will be turned on. Ok, I feel a little better. The guy asks me all my information again and I am put on hold 3 more times.

Hold Music

I don't know if you've ever noticed, but the music used to be classical, at least it was relaxing, but now it's like worse than techno, and just pisses me off more. This music is so irritating and I have my speaker phone on the lowest to hear the guy when he comes back....and I have to hear this CRAP!

I told several of the Verizon technicians - after what happened with Comcast- during the call how terrible the music was, and "I already gave you my phone #" "Oh it's so kind of you...Oh that wait was not long at all.....Do you know T-Mobile when I call they are wicked polite and make this so pleasant"..."Do you like working for Verizon?" "I'm the victim....I want a refund for my trouble....and.....I thought (Talk nice to me you jerks, you're the ones messing up--you could have a better phone voice).ugh.

I don't know if this pisses you off like it does me....even if I have nothing to do...what kind of a crazy world do we live in? Why so long? Why? Too stressful !!!!! I'd have to be drinking beer to enjoy it....hmmm maybe I should , those mother f@@**#S!!!!!!

My phone service is killing me!!!
My phone service is killing me!!!
I'll smash you!
I'll smash you!
You get the idea........
You get the idea........

Have you had bad experiences calling to set up phone etc services??
