Phone Fight Vanguard : Samsung Galaxy S3 vs LG Nexus 4

Updated on March 27, 2015

Dazzling Knight, S3

Samsung S3 is a beautiful looking device. It's Super AMOLED HD display is what gives the S3 it's eye popping beauty. Colors look vivid on the display. It has very rich blacks which will make reading a pleasure. The S3 doesn't also lack in power. Powered by a Exynos 4412 Quad chip, the S3 has enough processing power for anything but intensive gaming. Sadly, the 1GB of RAM makes the performance dip sometimes. The S3 comes with many features such as motion detection and smart stay. The downside of the S3 is that it has stopped receiving android updates. Camera quality of the S3 is good. I did take good shots using the S3. There are also many settings for the camera.

Wise Nexus 4

The S3 isn't the only one with beauty. The Nexus 4 has a glittery glass back which sparkles under sunlight. The only reason that the S3 became the beauty queen is because of it's screen. That doesn't mean the Nexus 4's screen lacks in quality. The Nexus 4 has a true HD IPS display. It has a more natural color system than the S3. Whether the S3 or the Nexus 4 should be the beauty queen depends on you. The Nexus 4 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S6 chip cloaked at 1.6GHz. It also has 2GBs of RAM. This makes the Nexus 4 a powerhouse. Sadly the battery quality ruins it's reputation. My usage didn't even last 6 hours, but my usage was above average.. The Nexus 4 handles programs likes a pro. It didn't lag even a bit. The Nexus 4 will always be one of the first devices to receive the latest and greatest of android. Camera quality of the Nexus 4 is below average. It's shots are very grainy.

Verdict

It's still your choice on who will be your vanguard. The S3 may have a gorgeous looking display but the Nexus 4 will always have new software. Both phones have become affordable due to time. In the end it's still your choice. This will be the end of this article. Thank you for reading and I hope that I helped you in your quest.
