Projection Clocks - Gadgets Extraordinaire

Oregon Scientific RM313PNA Self-Setting Projection Clock, Silver

A great way to keep the time and measure your house temperature which when used with an AC adaptor can display the time on either a ceiling or a wall continuously.

A contemporary way to display time - projection alarm clocks

If you are looking for a solution for being able to see what time it is in the middle of the night without Blackpool illuminations keeping you awake, then take a look at the options a projection clock can provide.

You can display the time on the wall or ceiling either when the alarm goes off, at the touch of a button or sometimes by clapping your hands, pretty neat I think.

Some will provide you with other information such as the room temperature or the date and typically you can rotate the head to orientate the display to suit your sleeping position so that you can read it without getting a crick in the neck.

There are also digital and analogue options available for the USA and UK markets and the small key ring versions work really well as convenient travel clocks if you just want to know the time.

By the way if you like the idea of creating your own single page website like this then all you have to do is click on I want to make my own Hub

The Hottest Projection Clock on Amazon

Oregon Scientific have done it again the hottest projection clock on the shelf for Christmas is this versatile, useful and very cool looking space age device that automatically resets itself in line with the US atomic clock, giving you an extremely accurate timepiece that automatically changes for daylight saving time and measures indoor temperatures.

Star Wars Projection Alarm Clocks

Wesco Star Wars R2D2 Projection Alarm Clock

Well there had to be at least one didn't there???

Bet you remember when R2D2 did a flaky projection of Princess Leia in the original Star Wars film, well he had to be a natural candidate for a projection clock after that. So here he is, just go get him.

Now R2D2 gives out the time plus a few other little features.

Cool digital projection alarm clock stuff on Amazon

Amazon provide a great range to choose from, if you don't like these there are plenty more to select from, alarm clock, digital wall clocks, lcd projector, travel clocks and more, take a look at the next module for more choice.

Try eBay for a projection alarm clock radio

These little key ring options are a fabulous alternative to a bedside clock, just slip in your pocket and take it with you on your travels and you will never be wondering what the time is when you are lying in that hotel room.

Keyring Projection Clocks

Very affordable and also very useful, I just love these Key Ring Mini LCD Projection Clocks available from Amazon UK

An analog projection clock for those that don't like a digital projection clock

Ovo Black Analogue Projection Clock 13.5cm

Only available on Amazon.co.uk unfortunately

The Ovo projection clockis a funky black unit, which can either be free standing or ceiling mounted. The clock will project the time on to almost any surface, in the form of an analogue projection. The projection size will depend on how close the clock is to the surface - the closer the clock, the smaller the projection.

I have a hard time seeing the time on the clock because it is on my wife's side. This might be just what I need.

I have thought about getting one of these, since I, too, need to put on my glasses to read a traditional clock - even a digital one. Just may put one of these on my list now!

@mariaamoroso: I know that feeling, I have to put glasses on for small print and to see a lovely view. So these projection clocks are great for getting over that problem.

We have had a few. Love them since I need glasses to see the hands on the clock but in the ceiling the numbers are so big! (and red) =)

We received an atomic projection alarm clock as a gift and it really is handy to just look at the ceiling to see the time in the middle of a dark bedroom. I'd love to explore some of the more creative types of projection clocks one day.

My first sprinkling of angel dust on this lens has long worn off so I am back once again to scatter a little more. It is my quest today to bless all the lenses which I blessed in October of 2010. You are on this list.

I've been thinking about one of these. Since I am really nearsighted, I could get one that was either the analog style or has really big numbers. I like the idea of one with the outside temp, too - give a bit of warning of how much clothes to put on before I head out to feed. Thanks for this useful lens.

Something I really despise about having to turn over to try and make out the time on my clock when I'm so comfy. A projection clock would be fun!
