Samsung Electronics announced on Sept 2, the launch of the Samsung GALAXY Tab (Model No - GT-P1000).

The GALAXY Tab is the first tablet devices from Samsung, and could provide an alternative to Apple's popular iPad. It is powered by Android Operating System 2.2.

The Samsung GALAXY Tab is jammed pack with lots of innovations that help users to work and play while on the move. With 7 inch display, customers will have good time watching video, listening to music, checking their emails and communicate with their love ones with ease.

It weigh only 380g, just perfect to bring it anywhere with ease. Plus, it is design for users to grip and use easily.

The Galaxy Tab, supports latest Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and also supports swift, that enhance the viewing of every single page of the web.

By using the ‘Readers Hub,’ Samsung’s e-reading application, you could access to a vast digital library. For movie lovers, you could use Samsung's ‘Media Hub,’ to access types of films and videos. Finally for music fans, access to your favorite music by using Samsung ‘Music Hub’ application.

The Samsung GALAXY Tab is an amazing communication device that help users communicate, work and play from anywhere they want.

The Galaxy Tab powers up mobile communication with high tech 3G HSPA connectivity, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 3.0. You could make video conference and send email with ease and also the large 7 inch display makes it much more convenient.

To make phone calls, you can use it as a speakerphone on the desk or as a handphone on the go with the help of Bluetooth headset. For high performance on the move, the Galaxy Tab uses a Cortex A8 1.0GHz application processor.

With two cameras, the front camera is for video conference whereas the rear facing is used to take pictures and video that you can upload and share with you friends and family.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy Tab in Europe in middle of Sept 2010 and for other regions including South Korea, US and Asia soon afterward.
