This is just a very quick post inspired by my commitment to cut down and insert my main sim card into the Nokia N9 I was given by Nokia, during my visit recently to Nokia World at the ExCel in London. As with all the phones I've had, I tend to use my last and latest handsets together for a while to make sure I'm happy and confident with the newcomer. Another reason was the fact the N9 works with a micro sim and I didn't want to cut down my main sim until I was absolutely sure, also I didn't have a sim cutter. Anyway I ordered and received a sim cutter which arrived today, and I've done the dirty deed and committed to the N9, which I am loving :)

So onto the actual point of this post , the two phones I have (well at least the two I'm using at the moment) the E7 and the N9 have very similar screen sizes, albeit that the E7's is very slightly larger at 4" compared to the N9 at 3.9" which I honestly thought would make virtually no difference whatsoever ? However having used the two phones in Tandem for a week , and having old spectacle aided eyes, I find the text on the N9 a little on the small size, sure you can zoom on the web and in the mail app, but in some apps, I find the display on the E7 MUCH easier to read ! Ihave bothe Fmobie and Twimgo installed on bothe handsets, and have attempted to take some photo's to demonstrate the difference, and despite the resolution on the N9 being higher, the E7's lower res screen often seems easier to view to me. I mentioned this in my post about the N9 and really hope the up coming software update, allows you to change the font size on the phone, which for me at least, would make it a better phone to use.

All this said, I really love the N9 and it's getting better by the day, and as my sim won't go back in the E7 since it's been on a diet, I plan to enjoy swiping and tapping away to my hearts content, maybe I should have gone to Specsavers ? LOL

Thanks for reading

Stephen Quin

Yes and I think the small difference in screen size and browser makes a difference, also font size !!
