The Most Annoying Alarm Clock You Will Ever Love
This simple idea could make its designer, Gauri Nanda, a knockout MIT graduate, very rich. Like the Pet Rock and other silly concepts that the public fell in love with, this alarm clock is annoyingly clever and cute.
It is simple. A clock with a R2D2 "Star Wars" alarm. The product is called "Clocky" and sells for $58. The unique thing about this is the clock is on small wheels. So, at night, you set the clock as you normally do to be awakened. The moment the alarm goes off, the clock moves off the nightstand table (it rolls off, lands on floor or rugs, making the wonderful R2D2 sound loudly, and basically acts crazy).
Sooner or later, you will attempt to hit the snooze button, which of course, is nowhere to be found, forcing you to wake up and find the little thing to turn it off! It is fairly fast and can travel a distance as you stumble out of bed. You might have to search for it.
All as planned, to wake you up and keep you up!
