HTML5 websites can be designed using

The Wix flash editor is the best when it comes to online web development of flash websites, and a few days ago on March 26th, 2012 they released the most awesome tool ever onto the web for all online users to utilize.

The HTML5 editor is now available for anyone to easily gain access to from the website, which allows for us average users to build our very own web locations with ease.

This web design editing tool is highly recommend, I just recently completed my first HTML5 website using their awesome new tool, and it only took me about 10 minutes to get completely done.

Getting started with Wix

You will need to have original content when setting up your HTML 5 sites, but if you need images the editor provides some, or you can go to flickr creative commons, and you can utilize the images from there, but need to create links on each image that requires attribution of any kind.

Developing websites with this new online technology, pretty much beats the difficulty if coding, which has been a tough thing many years back & so I love using the Wix editor.

Drag & Drop now has an HTML5 flavor to it, and these digital tough guys at Wix, are the very first of many website builder networks, to quickly get such powerful tooling onto the online center stage, wow is all I can say.

Lets hope it can stand up to the battle of online everything today, and can suit the needs for the average every day user, who needs a personal website, or business web location. By the looks of things though, after completing my first sample website yesterday, it actually turned out pretty good thus far, I'll be working hard to master this online tool now that its available to make use of.

This is the sample HTML5 site I recently designed using Wix

3 Part Hub Series on HTML 5 Editor - Skill Share

I’ll be providing some tutorial videos of how it all works in the next coming days or so, after I get use to all the features, and functions of this new HTML5 editor.

I will also be providing the active knowledge, current updates on it all, and on how to get your site up & running using the Wix editor platform whether it be a flash website your choice to create a website in HTML5.

This will also include a brake down into a 3 part hub series for newbies, as well as average users for now, since the knowledge is fresh and new even to me as a web developer. This will also serve to help those who may consider themselves drag & drop web design experts, or also known as the “Drag & Drop Web Designers”.

You just never know with the web, it might just become that next bright new career in the works, and definitely for those people whom chose to get into it all, there appears to also be a great deal of profitability in utilizing such tooling for web designers who seek to help provide their clients with services promptly, and with slick graphical design appeal.

Yes @dwachira, this cool tooling has made a world of a difference for me, I'm more of a drag & drop web designer today, as opposed to a coder, but it is definitely a challenge to give it a try, and create a skill out of it all for sure.

Thank again for a cool visit, and for voting as well as sharing with me, see you soon in your hubs.

With many developers having to work under tight budgets and strict deadlines to complete Web projects, i see the new drag and drop features in HTML5 editor having a significant impact on such projects. Hi Dale, not sure what you mean by this, did you mean the content within the website?

Well if you're referring to your content being displayed on a much smaller scale, well all you would have to do is adjust the object sizes for such a scale.

Wix has plenty of tutorials on how to make for that particular kind of adjustments in html5. I'm sure there's some info there simply give it a try to find out and learn a bit more there. Good Luck!

Wix doesn't do domain hosting, but you can point the HTML5 web locations you build with their tool to a preexisting domain host, or sign up with one, and point it there using the DNS system & name servers there for that domain host. In the next tutorial I'll address this part about Wix domain transfer info for sure.

The Wix sites cannot be downloaded to a hard drive neither, you have a online profile that manages your work done there at all times. Thanks for dropping by here, and for checking out my hub @Austinstar.

So Wix lets you do everything in a Cloud system. Can it be downloaded to a hard drive? How do they handle domain names and hosting? I will check it out. Thanks for this useful hub. Voted up.

Hi Flashmakeit, nope Wix doesn't do hosting, you must get a different host for domain names, and you will need to point your Wix site at that domain, I'll provide the steps on how to do so in the next video hub today.

Thanks for stopping by and for giving my hub some time of day. I'm glad you enjoyed the hub as well, I been really busy lately, but I'll see you so in your hubs as well.
