Yes and quite easily. My mobile sits around looking and being useless and I hardly use it. I don't much like talking on the phone, so I usually just sent text messages.

I only had my first mobile phone at Christmas, bought as a present.  I have never felt the need for one, and since I have had it, I have never used it.  I can't even figure out how to use it.  I am used to a house phone with a dial, so am a bit behind the times.

My phone's speaker is broken. It doesn't ring. Whenever I open an application it automatically restarts. The front panel is been removed. I have fixed it with a rubber band. Altogether my mobile is a "dubba" (Good for nothing)

    Still I love my phone. I can't live without it. : )

I can live without it, I only now use it when I am not home which is hardly ever!  I like having it in case of an emergency, especially since I have a little baby.  Aside from that though it doesn't matter much to me.

Its good to disconnect for a few days and go without a cell phone but since I travel so much - I'm not sure if I could completely transition my life away from such a powerful device.

People have lived without cellphones for hundreds of thousands of years before so I am guessing I will live. In today's age though, it would seriously hamper my productivity. Cellphones are one of those things that makes life so much easier thanks to the fact that most smart phones can go on the internet, and look up directions so if you drive around a lot, a cell phone will definitely be useful!

Yes, and I think anyone can unless it's needed for a living.

i don't have one now so it is an easy question to answer. i think it's absurd the way people seem to live on their phone.

I could because I don't have one. So I have lived for many years without one.

I seem to be doing just fine without one.  I'm afraid that it would be impossible for me to conduct business during the Spring and Summer without one though.

Yes, but thankfully I don't have to. Since losing phone service during a hurricane and only being able to use my cell phone, I turned my house line off. I do see why some people are annoyed by them, but I feel that is due to the manners of the people that are using them, and shouldn't carry over to the device itself.

I wouldn't necessarily want to (although it would be beneficial sometimes), but I definitely could live without it. I never even had one all through college (not that long ago). They are useful, but people use them way too much and they are not a need.

That depends on situation, My phone keeps me accessible, something that would never happen if I were only reachable by landline, it helps me coordinate and re-coordinate plans instantly and has helped in more than one emergency.

Do I have to have it? No, but it saves me hours of hassle, travel and stress daily.

Plus with the all new features they add every day I'm just waiting for the built in pocket knife feature. Then I'll really be able to depend on my phone.

i think it's a BIG NO. why? it's because cell phone is one of my medium of communication for contacting my clients for business purposes. :-)

As Curly of the Three Stooges would say...."cetainly!"  I have an I-Phone and I use it in various ways but ultimately, I don't really need it for anything other than sheer convenience.  I am not one of those guys when sits on the airplane at the gate trying to think of someone that I can call because I love being on my cell phone like a baby loves its pacifier.  He's the same guy who calls his secretary just as they close the entry door and reports to her that the plane is being pushed back now and he will call her on the ground in Atlanta. Pleeeze...how sick is this SOB. Nobody cares! Get a life! Find something else to do besides suck on your cell phone and for God's sakes, don't call me on mine! WB
