Loganwescott - Thanks for your answer. I have always been a PC user and recently converted after my stupendous experience with other Apple products, namely the iPhone. However, my concern is that I am not a heavy office user. I use the word document more than anything. I also enjoy the outlook. However, powerpoint and excel have not been used heavily. Only on occasion. So, I am wondering if Pages will fit the bill in terms of my needs. I believe that you can transfer a pages document to word document, pages format, or as a pdf. As such, you are not outside the loop with iworks. iWork's is a lot cheaper as well.
I have heard, however, that the 2011 ms office for mac is superior to pages in many ways. Their outlook is actually much better and more mac like. Can you suggest which way to go. Thanks again. I have not tried the mac version of office. Thanks again for your honest feedback. Its much appreciated.
