Build! It is so easy and you are left with a PC that is cheaper, higher quality, and upgradeable. It isn't that much cheaper to build, but the savings come in quality, easy processing of warranted replacement parts--if the need arises, and guaranteed inexpensive upgradeability. When you buy a PC from Wal-Mart you get a collection of the cheapest parts and components available. If something goes bad, you have to send the whole PC 3000 miles away for repairs. No thank you. Anyone with a screwdriver can build their own PC. Just make sure the motherboard supports the stuff you plug into it! Use a website with reviews like newegg to gauge quality. Compare prices on amazon.
