I think the iPad 3 could be very necessary, for both Apple, in monetary forms, and for the consumer. If the iPad 3 is marketed as an iPad 2x, or as a Pro edition, then it could be aimed at software developers, and other who are in the Mac Pro market, sending the price sky-high. If it is called the iPad 3, and aimed at consumers like us, then people will still want it, because it's the latest and the greatest, even though they may not be over the iPad 2. But the good news there is that it will be similarly priced to the iPad 2. That's the genius behind Apple marketing, is by creating something that everybody just HAS to have, despite the iPad 2 coming out, say two weeks ago.
