If you leave eBay feedback after a purchase...

Do you usually write the same old 'great transaction' feedback, or do you try to be creative with it? I kind of get irked at the same old copy and paste messages, but I understand why the larger sellers do it. I think the quirkiest feedback I ever left was 'dang, that was fast!'

It depends. As a buyer, I'll leave feedback that is specific to the transaction. As a seller, I usually leave the same old same old.

Guilty.  I just make sure that I say it was good service and let it go at that.  The sellers don't really care as long as it is not negative. I doubt the big sellers even read the feedback unless it is negative.

I have sold some things on Ebay and honestly I don't really care about the feedback either with regard to wording or whether it is a standard message - as long as the buyer was happy and doesn't leave negative feedback.  I'm just too involved in other things to worry too much about it.

I do try to personalize it, depending on the circumstances. It only takes a minute - just as quick as cut and past really!

Most of my experience from Ebay is as a seller. I very rarely buy from Ebay. I am guilty of using a generic cut and paste message. But I do that as a time saver, and generally if the buyer paid right away, and there was no reported issues, there isn't usually too much to say other than thanks for the fast payment, hope to deal with you again.
