It is stated that this would be done with parental guidance. Well, honestly parents don't always have time to watch everything their kids are doing. I think it's a terrible idea. My youngest child is eight, and she has asked for a FB page. It's a no go in my home. Even with my parental guidance I can't see my daughter growing up before she needs too. She should be doing normal kids things, like drawing, coloring, riding her bike, and playing child games outside. I know how connected I am on here, FB, and Twitter. I couldn't imagine her giving up herself, to give or check status updates.

This is true. I for one just can't see my daughter on FB. As I told her before she can wait. No need to be in a hurry to grow up.
