No. Antivirus programs hook themselves to the very innards of your computer's operating system. If you run 2 or more of them, you may find your computer freezing, locking up, or running extremely slow. One of the very basic things anti virus programs do is to scan every executable programs being opened. If two of them are trying to do this, it's possible they can get into a gridlock situation. When they do, your computer will lock up or freeze.
Even anti virus vendors don't recommend installing more than one.
However, you can install other tools that compliment your antivirus program, like a malware scanner, or a registry cleaner. Those type of tools check other vector of attacks in ways that won't interfere with antivirus programs.
