I was out of work and needed money.  I have lost several jobs over the years due to anxiety attacks, and I had finally came to a point where I knew I had to try something completely different.  So I turned to the Internet and discovered blogging, Internet marketing, and freelance writing.

It's not easy to make a living at this, and honestly I'm still not making that much yet.  But I'm learning, and I'm improving, and I'm building my business.

The "About" page of my blog goes into more detail about my struggles with anxiety disorder and how that kills my ability to work a regular job and provide for my family.

So are you into blogging KJ?  If so, how and why did you get started?

It looks like you joined HP awhile back but then maybe stopped?  Maybe set up your profile with a description and links to your blog and social media so that people can come and see what you're all about.

    Good luck

I like to research interesting things as I find them. Blogging gives me something to do with the things I find. Now I have several blogs and I'm opening my own web directory and an ecard site too.

Yep! I'm a lot like chrisinhawaii... I thought I could make money from this, or at the very least, become a problogger, publish a bestseller and live awesome! Three years in and that hasn't happened.

This year, I'm moving away from blogging. Bloggers nowadays, to me, don't have the credibility. I don't think they're taken as seriously as they once were.  And I also think the time where you could build a sustainable business around blogging and make great money, has passed. There's way too much competition now. I'm shifting... to something else.

James, it is a woderfull world of bloggers and hubbers. I like it.I got retired from my executive job. I do not posses any technical qualifications. Just one day while checking mail I found the logger platform. I followed the steps. It was in July 2012. Then became my journey. I will launch a blog and after a few days I feel that I can do much better. Every day I sent 3-4 feed backs to Google and to my utter surprise the very next day my problem got solved and I though that some body is attending me personally at Google. With this in mind I got encouragement and launched on blog after another. Google approved me for adsense. I got my own Domain Name registered through Google. I went on a spree to link my site with almost all best known social net works. Just see my social profiles and blog site in the profile. I am sure I will perform much better after I have experience of five years as compared to authors who have already attained five years experience. I get encouragement from fellow bloggers and hubbers.
