For those who are older, paper was the media that information was written upon. Through the years, many types of media were developed and left to the wayside, while leaving behind information, songs and history not transferred to the new media. How much information did we lose? How much did society miss? Where is the media of old and the information now and where will it be if the electricity is lost? The electronic data (and money) could be lost as we lose electricity !!!! It started as tablets, paper, reel-to-reel, 8-track, lasor disks, cassettes, LP, 45's, and progressed from there.

I tried to contact the Library of Congress back some time ago and they said that a fire burned all records to what I was inquiring about. The media players are being destroyed also. The VHS, the cassette players, the 8-track player, laser players..
