    I guess it does depend on your lifestyle. I also like laptops but you brought up a good point about having extra monitors. If you really want to, hooking up a couple extra monitors to a laptop is possible but can be a hassle.

    Your idea about the Kindle having a USB is a good one. I don't like desktops either as I typically walk on a treadmill or stand at a counter or counter height desk when working and need portability to do so.
