How many times a day do you tweet on Twitter?

And what is the interval time between your tweets? Like, do you tweet every hour or every 2 hours or something? What do you think is the ideal number of times that one should tweet each day and what should the interval time between those tweets be?

Thanks for your response. I was just wondering about the best number of times to tweet and the hours interval between tweets. I seem to be tweeting every hour or so or whenever I feel like it.

That depends on how much free time I have. Sometimes I tweet several times a day, and there are also some days when I don't tweet at all! So, I'd say tweet whenever you want to tweet, even if you want to tweet every hour- that's completely normal. wink big_smile

Thanks for your response. I'm new to Twitter so still learning a lot. But what is the interval time between your tweets? Every hour or so is okay then? Also, if your tweet was retweeted, what do you do? Just say thanks? Is that the norm?

I'm not an expert. But I think when you start tweeting you should tweet many tweets at once because your followers get too many tweets from different people they follow and therefore your single tweet will disappear as soon as it is posted.

Oh, I didn't consider that at all. I thought we were supposed to only tweet once at a time. Is this what you do? How many tweets at once do you do then?

Do not tweet the same thing again and again. I do that sometimes. And that also depends on what I want to tweet at the moment. Number varies. I am not an expert though. Keep experimenting. You'll figure out something good. It is a "hard to crack egg"

Thanks. You're right. It is kind of hard to figure out. I'm still learning. By the way, what do you do if your tweet is retweeted?

I think it depends on how much time you have available. I don't think that there is an ideal number of times that you should tweet each day though.

Sometimes I might tweet 15 to 20 times or more, while other times up to 10 tweets. Oh and I usually allow others to tweet before I post another one. You can follow me if you want I will follow back if you give me your twitter name, mine is CAchilleos

Oh. Wow, that's a lot of tweets. What's the interval time between your tweets? And, when you tweet, do you tweet several times in quick succession or do you wait some time like an hour or so before posting your next tweet?

I think its rather random but I usually allow my followers to post some tweets before I add another one. My name on Twitter is CAchilleos, if you can't find me you can get the link from my profile page on HubPages.
